About Me

My wife was executed although she was a beautiful human being incapable of harming anyone, and with no evidence other than that fabricated. This was many years ago, but she is coming to me like a breath yearning me to me to recover and dance. My human rights desire has left me multiply widowed, and it's obvious that the more you centre your vision on the female, the more you suffer.

I fell in love with Anne on death row, and of course never touched her. I cannot remeber the colour of her hair.

WE were married hours before her death in her ansence, of course, but by a Cherokee holy woman, who married me to her twice, first as a man, then as a woman.

I also saw the opposite when my daughter was murdered by a man who had been treated leniently. This convinces me that the key is to replace not only the criminal justice system but socirty as a whole with something entirely better and more wholesome, and indeed if you stop seeing @[email protected] but see each story as part of the jigsaw, then you can see that unless barbarism in all its forms is ended we will all be executed in the climate crisis.

I hope to become a pen friend. My philosophy has been to be in favour of people, and in favour of women, who bring life.

About Me

I am Kara's mother.  This was taken shortly after her 13th birthday.   We were close and she was a loving bright child with so much potential.  I love her as much today as I did then.  We are hoping for an appeal and or to find new evidence to clear her.  She has a large family who are loving her and supporting her the best we can with the distance and the rules they have.  Remember us in your prayers as we will remember others who have gone thru or will go thru the heartache something like this brings.    Audrey

About Me

I've been a teacher all my life, but as well as teaching I also love to learn. At the moment I'm learning how to be useful in the fight to abolish the death penalty. I'm also trying to be a writer, and when I'm not writing books I'm writing letters to penpals on death row, two of which are women. It's a precious, life-changing experience for me and for them too, I hope!

About Me

This is my 'little' brother, Louis Castro Perez who is an innocent man on Texas' death row; and our dear friend, John Holbrook, who took the photos of many of the men on death row; conducted interviews with them; and has now shared their stories around the world. I just wanted to thank everyone so much for their work to help us abolish the death penalty in Texas and around the globe. There is still so much work to be done, but with all of us working together, the way we do, I know that someday soon, we will attain our lofty goals !! God Bless each and every one of you!! xoxoxoxo dm

I will never give up on the women. It is their turn now!!  Women have been neglected for so long, and that has to stop right now. Women's rights should not and ought not stop at the prison gates.

I am so thrilled to have you all here , and I am so proud to have you Donna with us and a warm welcome to Audrey , Kara's mom as well!! Please let us know if you need our help for your daughter!

Let's all stand up for our sisters!

About Me

Dear Friend

I am a 53-year-old British man (the smart one on the left) who has been opposed to the Death Penalty all my life. I have been making friends with pen pals on Death Row in the last year or so. Mainly men, so I should like to write to some women. All I can offer is friendship from afar, you do not have to tell me how you landed there, my friendship is unquestioning & unqualified. I will try and write every week and send you some photo's or postcards if that is allowed in your state. I am a Politics Graduate working as a Librarian at my old University. My other interests include the fine arts and the Peace and Green Movements. And cats. I am a voracious reader. I enjoy walking in the wilderness, such as it is in Britain, particularly in the south-east where I live. I rarely fly, but I have visited Finland and the Czech Republic. That, in a nutshell, is me. If you think I might be of interest to you then I should be pleased to hear from you. Best wishes, Rudi

About Me

These days I just consider myself an actress, and play several leading roles. Role 1 - I am the wife of a bad boy who found Jesus. Role 2 - I am a mother of three crazy boys who started their own Anti Death Penalty Organization.  (KADP)  Role 3 - I am the sister of an innocent man on death row; and thusly have picked up the role of human rights activist. Now, there are several other miscellaneous roles I play, but none are more demanding or important as these!!!!

About Me

Hello,

I live in Australia, on the east coast next to some of the world's most beautiful beaches.

My home is about a 3 hour drive north of Sydney in New South Wales.

I am an artist and landscape designer.     My garden is my favourite place.    It backs onto a semi-tropical natural reserve with lots of palm trees, all kinds of large eucaplytus trees and a lot of wild life.   Possums, koalas, wallabies and lots of little animals.    Many different types of birds.   Kookaburras, magpies, wrens, finches, rosellas, black cockatoos, eagles, black swans, pelicans and many more.

I am fierce about human and animal rights.   Anti racism, the death penalty and anything else that demonises people.

Women seem to be overlooked in the prison system which is why I hope to make a positive contribution to this site.

About Me

I am a firm anti-death penalty activist. I witnesses the horrible, cruel and unjust execution of my "bestest" friend, Greg Wright October 30, 2008. It left marks and scars that forever changed my life, for better and for worse. :( I co-wrote a book on his life, called "Texas, He WAS Innocent" in 2009.

I teach English at a private high school, and I teach my students through lectures on an annual basis. I lecture on other local schools, trying my own way to spread the word of abolition. I do, however, feel women on death row and women in general in prison, are in desperate need of extra attention. Thus, I will do what I can, when I have the time:-) PS..I am a Danish citizen, residing in Norway.

I support Heidi and ya all in this:-) :)

Best regards

Bente
